doctor, my eyes

finally i will go see the doctor today about my right foot (sounds like a movie sequel). i will walk to the doctor's office and hopefully find out what the problem is.  i am sure it is nothing too serious and since it looks like a seriously beautiful day, i will try to walk to the beach again.  here is some local color.

so a funny thing happened on my walk home from the doctor's office . . . i found a trail with waterfalls.

well i've been out walking

happy 60th birthday to Mr. Browne.

Steve and i played tennis for almost 2 hours (i guess you could say almost tennis).  and then a nap.  i think it was my first nap of my 3-month vacation.  fell asleep on the floor listening to The Easy Network which is the same station i enjoyed in Aviano while visiting my little sister Sharon in Italy in 2003. it sounded as clear as in her apartment.  all i needed was the smell of the bakery which was below her apartment and the view of the (pre-)Dolomites from her northern-facing windows.
