a good day

it is a good day when you get to walk on the takimichi (trail to the waterfall), meet Takechi-san and his dogs and meet another Shiba-wanchan (puppy), get to see Yamabushi-san and have takoyaki. and by the way, the mountain is now officially open.

Takechi-san, Danny, Look (or was it Luke) and Popo . . . and Tony

keep the promise alive/don't you worry 'bout a thing

i made it home from the gym before the next big storm arrives. so, what to do, what to do? time to clean up my little apartment as well as my computer's desktop. i found this video of Takechi-san and his 3 dogs on their daily stroll to the Minoo Taki (waterfall). this short video was taken in late November. you will be able to see some of the fall colors and some fall fashion. this is part of the "trail" is at the opposite end from the waterfall which is why there are some shops. sorry it is not so clear. the fall colors were beautiful.

in case you can't see the video, i just did a little research and found this . . .

and as promised by the weathermen, it has begun to rain before noon.

last walk to Minoo Taki and more, and less

tony and i left early this morning for Minoo Taki. we took a break in this little park after buying some pan from Isamu Bakery and Trattoria

i thought he was a statue at first. he reminded me of my Mother`s two Schnauser`s (in Doggie Heaven now) except he did not bark. he seemed very peaceful just watching the world and me walk by. i know the feeling.

saying goodbye to Takechi-san, Danny, Look and Popo.

Minoo Taki. i think this is very similar to the photo in yesterday`s newspaper
