it wasn't a completely lazy day for me as i did have a good 2 hour workout at Bally's .  and then walked about two miles and bought some new hiking shoes.  after lunch and a short nap, i walked to the beach for the sunset.  and then Trader Joe's for some groceries. while waiting for the bus back home, i met two nice guys who are studying English at an language school in Redondo Beach. Makoto and Kristof... can you guess which countries they come from?　　 一期一会

and do laundry.  i found this Zantedeschia while walking to the laundry room.  ok, back to my bids.  later i will add some more photos from yesterday's Mardi Gras celebration and also some images from The Grove.

you never know what you will see on an LA city bus ... glad i didn't wear my cape.  and i think you know i don't have a crucifix to hang around my neck.  and my portable music device is wee bit smaller.

guess where i went today?  and after 3 buses to get there and three buses to return, i am home.  it was another fun day of music, people watching, photo taking but i never got around to eating so... time for lunch at 8pm.  and because my second bus was one hour late, i was able to help and meet a young woman from ... Japan.  一期一会  she had just flown in from New York where she had been visiting for 5 days and now will spend a few days sightseeing in LA.  another bus rider and i helped her to catch the bus down to Hermosa Beach.

doctor, my eyes

finally i will go see the doctor today about my right foot (sounds like a movie sequel). i will walk to the doctor's office and hopefully find out what the problem is.  i am sure it is nothing too serious and since it looks like a seriously beautiful day, i will try to walk to the beach again.  here is some local color.
