another day and day of beautiful cherry blossoms. today i went to Shukugawa which is only about 45 minutes by train or shall i say three trains. you will have
to see the photos. and then there was the violin player who played "happy birthday" for my friend Noriko. he was with his sister, Mother and Grandmother celebrating his sister`s birthday and the cherry blossoms. he played a few songs for me. nice guy, nice family. and the Grandmother had a very cute long haired dachsund who seemed to be enjoying the music and cherry blossoms as well.
he was kind enough to take a photo with my Tony. and speaking of dogs, there
were the three very cute long haired chihuahua (sp?) dressed as...bees. in Japanese "hachi" which is also the word for "eight". the dogs were named "Nana, Hachi and Kyuu"...7,8 and 9. more about all that with photos later.
yesterday i went to Osaka-jo (Osaka Castle) to see the cherry blossoms and then walked to Sakuranomiya Koen where i saw many cherry blossoms trees which line the Okawa River (yes, kind of redundant if you know what i mean) and one...juggler. more with photos later.
time for ofuro...bath time.
