no plan was my plan

not exactly true as i had the basic plan of going to the gym and then taking the bus to the Apple Store in Manhattan Village. after that my no plan plan worked out nicely. i did get the new Mighty Mouse and it is cool. and it will allow me to sit on my couch (either near the heater or under a blanket, brrr it is cold in my apartment these days) and i can watch my Japanese dramas and movies without having to get up to "click" to the next segment. if you stop by, i will show you what i mean. before the Apple Store i stopped by REI as i really need a new backpack. my Celtic Football Club backpack which i bought earlier this year at the Dublin airport is coming apart. i think it cost about $8 (US) so i have gotten my money's worth. unfortunately the backpacks at REI are much higher than i thought so i must do some comparative shopping. after REI i stopped by Trader Joe's for some more brown rice sushi. my no plan plan was beginning to take shape. after the Apple Store, i would (and did) walk to Manhattan Beach and had my sushi on the pier. it was nice and sunny. and the waves were that beautiful green i like. but first, after buying my new Mighty Mouse, i then walked to Ralph's for a few groceries. my no plan plan had a little flaw. carrying my used gym clothes in my back pack and some groceries left no room to put my sweatshirt. well, it was a wee big cool in the shade so would have to leave it on. the walk from PCH to the beach was further than i thought but it was as i said i nice day with no real plans. lunch on the pier and a few photos later, and i was walking south to Hermosa Beach. my new no plan plan was to take photos of the christmas tree by Hermosa Pier and then walk up Pier Avenue back to PCH and catch the southbound 232 bus. luckily the nice bus driver from the earlier bus gave me a few extra hours on my transfer. as long as the homeward bound bus came by 430p, i could use the transfer. the bus arrived just as i made it to PCH at 4pm. so to recap, i left home at 7am and returned around 430pm. yes, i am a little tired but that was part of the plan too. soon i will have to return to work just to get some rest. here are a few images from my no plan plan day.
