it was my first time to be on the takimichi (waterfall trail) in February and i was happily surprised that there was still alot of green.

and it warmed up to around 40F by the time i was having my lunch in front of the Minoo Taki (waterfalls). there was ice about half way up on the right side of the falls. and yes, that is someone sitting very close to the falls. he is an o-henro (person on pilgrimage).
