and what kind of sakura is this?
day 1 of the start of my 4th week here in Minoo is almost over. and so am i. today i left home around noon and returned around 630pm. it was a warm day and the first day for me to wear shorts and a short-sleeve shirt. and speaking of firsts, i forgot to mention i drove Noriko`s car for the first time without her in the car. my first errand was to take her Mother to the hospital (non-life threatening) for a check-up. no problems, and i actually took a little video while driving back to show the cherry blossoms in full bloom along the Sakura-dori (street) not to be confused with the Sakura Tunnel Street (a couple of Sakura Tunnel Street photos are in yesterday`s blog). (not really sure if that is the name of those streets as there are no signs as far as i know on the streets saying what their name is). as for today, more tomorrow. here are a some photos from my long walk. oh, Noriko treated me to okonomiyaki at Warai. delicious as always and gochisosamadeshita. i bought a Sakura Roll-cake on my walk from a shop which sells mainly Japanese sweets for the end of Noriko`s Haru Yasumi (spring vacation). tomorrow she will go back to school/work. how will things go with her Father without her being here? fortunately we (Noriko`s Mother and i) have the help of some very kind Helper-san and Kangoshi-san (nurse) and O-Isha-san (doctor). stay tuned.
