the sun did come out in the afternoon. i almost forgot to mention the most beautiful fragrance coming from the front yard. i noticed it yesterday but i could only find one little (tiny and orange-ish colored) bloom. today there were many more and the smell . . . heavenly. i told Noriko if (when) i die, i want to die in mid-April or mid-October. in April because i want to see the sakura one more time. or in October because i want to smell the kinmokusei one more time.
