the rain has stopped but still looks a bit threathening out the back window toward the mountains. and speaking of mountains, that is where i am heading for my birthday walk. i will begin on the takimichi (waterfall trail) and from there, who knows. for sure i will be taking a snack to eat on a break in front of the waterfall. i hope to find some katakuri up in the mountains . . . you will know if i do . . . there will be a photograph or two later.
