a few photos from my little ohanami-ing to Daigo-ji.　more tomorrow. it was a beautiful day for my day (actually only 8 hours away from home) trip to the east side of Kyoto in search of a new place to see sakura. Noriko read in the paper that they were at 70% in bloom at Daigo-ji (temple). Daigo-ji is a World Heritage Cultural Sight. i have been here once a few years ago just before autumn and climbed the mountain behind Daigo-ji in search of . . . Daigo-ji. but, that is another story.
