on my way to Scotland again but first a wee walk to Walmart

i can't remember the last time i had to sit on the jumpseat to get on a flight to Philadelphia. but, i and two other co-workers had to last night as the red-eye flight was completely full. apparently there had been a "breach of security" at LAX Terminal 1 on saturday. and what does that have to do with me? well, a flight that had about 20 open seats became a flight with no open seats. and why you ask? well, when the "breach of security" happened, no one could pass thru security into the terminal untile the "problem" was resolved. and that means several passengers trying to get on the earlier flight from LAX to PHL (and other places) did not make their flights and that means. . . they had to go on my flight
at 950p. and now you know some of the rest of the story. luckily there were only 3 of us trying to get to PHL and there were three extra jumpseats. so here i am after a little early morning nap about to brave the heat and humidity to walk to Walmart in search of a few things for my trip namely cassette tapes for my recordable Walkman. i also need to find some lunch. if all goes well, i will be in Glasgow by 9am on monday. i am hoping to go back to Edinburgh as this year's Fringe and Tattoo Festival have started. not sure if i can "find" a ticket for The Tattoo but i should be able to get a ticket to see Gamarjobat for the third year in a row. i may also get to meet a Great Scottish professional photographer.
