all that jazz and more than all that jazz

yesterday i spent about 50 minutes at Senri-chuo. and why was i there for over 7 hours today? if you guess music was involved, give yourself a gold star. and speaking of gold stars i think there was one on top of the Christmas tree in front of the Selcy stage. today`s highlights started with pizza toast for breakfast. and then to Senri-chuo by bus for the Autumn festival which included standard jazz, big band jazz, "instrumental experimental" jazz, African music and a wonderful solo ukulele player (think Jake Shimabukuro). i also heard some violin music outside the Yamaha music store. i think they were showcasing some of their students. and then there was the very energetic taiko performance which i enjoyed with takoyaki from Takozo. i will add some photos and maybe video tomorrow. dinner was waiting for me at home. for dessert we all enjoyed a fruit basket made from and with some delicious fruits such as pineapple, grapes, grapefruit and melon. when i add the photo, you will understand more clearly what it was. time for bed. there is more music tomorrow. and hopefully more autumn colors. oh yesterday`s winter-y rainy day turned into a beautiful sunny today. i took a photo of the sky because it was so blue.
