Happy TsuiHachi Classic San Marco Day

finally we went to see Hachi in Umeda this morning. if you have a heart, take some kleenex (tissue). you might first want to read up on the real Hachiko.

and then it was to Nakanoshima for some classical music as a part of the Osaka Classic concert series. the first ensemble we saw was excellent; 2 violins, one viola, one bass, 2 french horns and what i thought the leader of the group, the oboe. no photography or video allowed but i did record some if you are interested. more tomorrow about the rest of the day and also about the delicious lunch in a cafe high up in the mountains with a wonderful view of Osaka called Sankirai that Noriko treated me to yesterday
