Tamir's playground: from Harlem to Tel Aviv and points in between

here is a little sample of the incredibly talented and charming pianist, Tamir Hendelman, that i had the wonderful pleasure of seeing tonite at LACMA's Friday Night Jazz concert.  and it only took three buses and about 2 hours to get there.
the song is entitled "Playground" from Tamir's debut cd also called Playground.
Dean Koba on drums,
Dan Lutz on bass
"Spring Action" (if you can't see it here, just click on this to see it in youtube)(if you can't see it in youtube, just stop by my place and you can it and another of my favorites, Israeli Waltz).

i think they could have been spaced a little more effectively on Wilshire Blvd.

what caught my eye as the bus was stopped at a traffic light somewhere on Sepulveda, the features of staying at this motel.  yes, cable tv is nice but this motel also offers . . . telephones.
