*everything begins with listening

*from As it is in Heaven (spoiler alert at the end of "plot"). i heartwarmingly recommend this Swedish heartwarming film.

i think i said this last friday but this time tomorrow i should be back east and on my way to the commuter hotel in Chester. the next day in Manhattan. i think Ontario (LA not Canada) on thusday and then LA (home for me, hotel for my crewmates) on friday night. and then back and forth across the country on saturday. well, that's the plan. subject as always, to change.
and now a few photos from the first of march. gym, laundry, dry cleaning, nap, SAP, PBS, Magerarenai Onna. and repacking my suitcase for tomorrow morning's flight.

any guesses?

you just never know when you will see a samurai walking down the street
and speaking of Japan . . .

i heard this song many times on my last visit to Osaka in february or was it in november. it is fun to listen to and well as jog/cycle/stairmaster to. the singer is Abe Mao and she was born in . . . 1990. she just turned 20 last month. that makes me feel old(er). i do remember FM802 (my favorite Osakan radio station) playing a short clip of some of her songs for an upcoming album and then they say . . . ABE MAO! (A-bey Mao)(Abe is last name, Mao is her first name). it is fun to say. ABEMAO ABEMAO ABEMAO. oh, the song is called ふりい (pronounced "free"). i will hopefully be listening to FM 802 again in less than two weeks.
