it is a beautiful first or second day of Spring. we had pizza toast and fresh fruit for breakfast. pizza toast has always been one of my favorites here. recently Noriko showed me the secret of making it so now i get to help. there was a time when i had never seen the inside of the kitchen here but now i get to help a little with the cooking and washing the dishes . . . and i get to use the cute sakana (fish) shaped sponge that Noriko`s Mother likes so much.
the Spring high school baseball tournament (Senbatsu) started yesterday at Koshien which is the home field for the pro Hanshin Tigers. it is on tv now and i hope to get to go see it live. earlier we watched "Tonari no Ningen Kokuho-san" which is one of my favorite shows.
Noriko`s Father is resting now after breakfast and "drinking" his ocha (green tea). i say "drinking" but all food, liquids and medicine are thru a tube in his stomach.
pizza toast. time for breakfast.
Noriko created the new ikebana for the front genkan (entrance hall... inside the front door where shoes are taken off and then you step up into the house).
Hinamatsuri snowglobe . . . this is the last photo before it fell off the rock and broke. this one was Noriko`s. gomen nasai. i will send her the other one i bought when i return to LA.
