Itami e, Sakura and Samurai Japan

i added my first cherry blossom photo to yesterday`s blog but this is one of the first photos i took on my short walk on rainy sunday.
i call this photo いいふふ ii fufu...nice couple.
today Noriko, her Father and i went to Itami Sky Park to have a picnic and watch the airplanes take off and land. it is nice little park which also has a small musuem of the Itami area (previously Nakamura). this is the hometown of Noriko`s Father so he felt quite nostalgic (natsukashii) to see the old photos and maps. after the picnic we went to the very modern shopping mall called Diamond City. dinner was delicious as always. tonite`s main course was yakisoba. yakisoba was one of the first things i remember eating when i first came to Japan. i ate it after hiking up Mitaka-san in Saitama-ken (near Tokyo). . . natsukashii. and of course we were all excited to watch Samurai Japan win the World Baseball Championship in Los Angeles. it was their second win in a row.
