looks like a nice last day before heading west

yes, i am still getting ready to leave tomorrow for Osaka.  but first here is a song i heard this morning by chance on a cassette tape from last year.  this singer /musician (and sometimes hairstylist) Uri Nakayama was a guest on Hiro T.'s morning show (FM802).  from the first moment i heard her voice and her music, i knew i would be taking time out of my busy (me, busy?) day to find out more about her.  i found many songs of hers on youtube.  here is a live performance of the one i heard this morning.  this is a short version so hopefully you will have 2 minutes and 14 seconds to enjoy this beautiful melody. check out the music video if you have about 5 minutes. something about it and her voice and her accordian and her little trumpet and her band brings a happy tear to my eye.  i know it is a summer song and i have yet to see this year's cherry blossoms but for me . . . summer is every day.
